About J Gray Design and Interiors
Tracy Harkness is the owner of j. gray design & interiors in Alpharetta, GA. She graduated from Meredith College, in Raleigh, NC, where she earned a B.S. in Interior Design from the CDIA accredited college. Tracy has worked in the design industry for 10+ years, first starting her career in Atlanta in 1994 at Georgia Lighting, specializing in residential and commercial lighting design and sales. She then continued her design career as a designer for one of the nation’s largest home builders, working in their design studio. Since becoming a mom, Tracy has worked on several design projects for fun, but always had a dream of starting her own design company, and those dreams are now a reality. The company name is derived from her two sons, Benton James & Landon Gray. With a respect for every client, Tracy creates spaces that are chic, timeless, and comfortable. Every space should be functional and livable with attention to detail. Tracy’s busy lifestyle includes her husband, Jeff, two actives sons, and a labradoodle.
